A workshop to explore the possibilities offered by flexible structures and materials: their ability to perceive and adapt to climatic, acoustic and light conditions; abilities involving the detection of users and the modification of the space in relation to them; the possibilities of capturing wind and solar energy; etc.
In this workshop we will discover the possibilities opened up by the application of electronics to fashion design. From the idea to its realization, participants will be able to develop a project through the use of Lilypad open-source technology, which is compatible with Arduino.
A theory and practice discovery workshop that will allow us to explore the concept of “open objects” and how it has been applied, particularly thanks to appropriating personal 3D printing technology and digital fabrication in general. After an approximation to the “open objects”, participants will proceed to the creation of several types of open objects with personal 3D printers.
Fifth and last session of this course on intellectual property and industrial design organized by ADI-FAD, Clarke, Modet & Cº and SNAbogados. On this occasion, the session will deal with formulas for the protection of collaborative projects and the differences with other protection formulas.
Under the «slow» concept, new ways of thinking, producing, marketing, consuming, using and recycling clothes help us to cover our needs. Sustainable Fashion and «Slow Fashion» focus their attention on the process, contributing to a model based on the common good. MODAFAD and Moda Sostenible Barcelona organize this Master class to acquaint young designers with these concepts.
