A one-day, one-hour encounter between some of the artists participating in our tribute exhibition to our host city and the public. They will talk about their experiences, life lessons, facilities and difficulties as artists in Barcelona. A proposal for a close encounter with art, speaking directly with them and their work. Presentation during the 15 days of the FADfest of the jewels of the film «Stella Cadente» ("Shooting Star") by Lluís Miñarro, which will have premiered on 30 May. The stars and wearers of the jewels by Miquel Barberà -HÀBIT- in the film: Àlex Brendemühl in the role of King Amadeus of Savoy and Barbara Lennie in the role of Queen Maria Vittoria.
In this workshop we will discover the possibilities opened up by the application of electronics to fashion design. From the idea to its realization, participants will be able to develop a project through the use of Lilypad open-source technology, which is compatible with Arduino.
Through large-format photographs captured with a plate camera, the author will accompany us on a tour around different cities that mix an ironic vision of our globalized world, homogeneous and clogged with cities as it is, with the people who inhabit them and who give us their dimension.
Presentation session on selected start-ups from the Betapitch competition at Betahaus Barcelona. Each start-up will compete with its project in a 5-minute pitch and the winner will go to the final of the Betapitch Global in Berlin to compete for the global prize (betapitch.net) and a trip to Silicon Valley.
A theory and practice discovery workshop that will allow us to explore the concept of “open objects” and how it has been applied, particularly thanks to appropriating personal 3D printing technology and digital fabrication in general. After an approximation to the “open objects”, participants will proceed to the creation of several types of open objects with personal 3D printers.
